Queens 10K

Over 8,650 runners lined up at the start of the New York Road Runners Queens 10K on Sunday, despite one hour delay caused by weather conditions .
Fans cheered on family and friends who raced along the 6.2-mile stretch of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park .
Just as the former World Fair brought diversity to Queens, people from many origins and various backgrounds ran shoulder to shoulder along the 10K.
Among that variety of runners was of course our Xomox employee Piotr, who consistently increases the frequency of races he runs. Queens 10K is just one of plenty more before the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon that Piotr already qualified for, but also one indispensable to qualify for 2016.

Piotr finished 281st of 8,650 runners and 40th among 1,146 men and women in his age group. You can find the link with the statistics here
